Creating ease around food, work and life. That’s my superpower.

Let’s work together!

Amy’s new book, “Food: Eat with Ease Every Day” is available now!

“I’m a middle-aged woman with a 150-pound weight loss story.”

. . .

Amy Freinberg-Trufas has lost and gained over 1,000 pounds over the course of her life.
From her highest weight to her current weight, she’s lost 150 pounds.
This time, though, she’s kept it off.
After more than four decades of suffering the mental and physical burden of obesity including stints at fat camps, failed attempts at fad dieting, patterns of destructive eating, fat-shaming, body dysmorphia, and self-loathing, Amy created a sustainable path to major weight loss, that instead of deprivation and punishment, finally felt like ease.
Featured in numerous television broadcasts, articles, and podcasts, including The Dr. Oz Show’s “Shocking Health Transformations” episode, in her book, “Food: Eat with Ease Every Day,” Amy shares with the world how and why she finally made peace with a lifetime of food addiction, how this process led her to achieve a healthy weight and discover self-love.
Amy lives with her family in a small Upstate New York village.

What People Have to Say About Amy:

Thank you for sharing your story. You are doing God’s work.

Amy has done a wonderful job on styling our banking industry commercials for several years. She provides mood boards, communicates with talent regarding wardrobe, fills in any blanks, and keeps everything moving smoothly on shoot day. This takes a huge burden off our staff and our final product is consistently outstanding.

This woman is the real deal.

This woman saved my ass!!! If you are interested in film production, wardrobe, makeup, and how to juggle many hats, contact Amy. BTW she saved my ass on Who Killed Hazel Drew.

Amy, thank you so much! As usual, you bring such a gentle heart and positive vibe to the set, and it is noticed and appreciated. Thank you again for all your wonderful work! We hope to work with you again real soon!

Amy is our go-to set stylist. She makes the talent look and feel great!

Amy was stylist for a huge medical shoot and the talent no-showed. As a trained actress and host, she jumped in front of camera and filled in. The client was thrilled and she saved the shoot. I can’t think of anyone else who could have done that.

Amy was hired to style talent for a teleprompter shoot for a national mental health campaign. Unfortunately, the talent who showed up couldn’t use a teleprompter and we weren’t able to get the material we needed from him. Being trained on Teleprompter, Amy discretely offered to go on camera if that would help us. She delivered the material in a couple takes and blew the client away. It’s so comforting to know that she can help us out with different things on set and I now insist on her being present, just in case!
